YAY!!!!
I am now a certified BLS instructor thru the American Heart Association!!! Which means, I can certify anybody in CPR providing that they take my class!!!! I PASSED!!! AND!!! I recently have been accepted into GATES VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE for and EMT position!!! YAY! I had to interview for this and got "accepted" just like a job... I then will be begin lots of schooling! I'm so excited!!! I've always wanted to do this!! They already gave me a key to the joint! WO-HOO!!!

Only 10 days until "Hooterific Pizza" Family night...
Saturday April 25th. I figure we will start around 4pm or so.
Yvonne and I will provide Sauce, Pepperoni, Mozzarella, and the dough. I will have a combination of homemade dough and a few pre-made crusts as well. Also will have beer and bottled water.
If there are any other toppings you would like, or beverages please feel free to post them here so we can all know what you are bringing.
There will most likely be one more update just before our "Family Night" next week.

Finally Home once again....
Just wanted to let you all know that Debbie is home as of 4:15pm today 4/8/09 and resting.
She is doing much better than the last time I dropped her off. I thinl she even said she was hungry too!

I went to see Debbie this afternoon and she was told that she should be discharged sometime on Tuesday (4/7/09). All she is waiting on is the paperwork and such. She looks great and has a pep that she did not have the last time I picked her up!

WELCOME HOME AUNT DEBBIDY!!!
Welcome home Aunt Deb!!! Momma Audrey just called and said that Deb got sent home on Morphine.... HHHMMM... Party in Spencerport tonight?? lol... all kidding aside, Deb is quite sleepy and asked that people hold off on calling her. She will call folks as she becomes more awake.

I just called her and she asked me to be there at noon today for her release!
Needless to say she is quite excited. Hopefully the paperwork will go smoothly and she will be resting at home around 2:00pm today!

Just thought I'd post this since I finally got a switchboard operator to tell me before transferring me to her room...lol

Aunt Debbie update..
I was there this morning around 9:45 am. They have started her on liquids today. She had her first drink of apple juice. Yum Yum!!! We also did a lap around the transplant unit but she did experience some discomfort in her right side abdomen. Nurse checked her out and all readings were normal. They say she may go home tomorrow but Monday is probably more realistic.
She looks like her ole' self again too!

Does anyone have any updates on Mom? I haven't hear anything since Wednesday when Alicia and Grandma went to see her. Chris had surgery on his knee yesterday to repair a torn miniscus so I haven't been able to call anyone. He's doing fine now. It was outpatient sugery. Could someone call me or post here about Mom? Does she have a phone yet?

***UPDATE***
Momma Auddie and I went to see Debbie today... She is looking more human and is even "talking" a little bit. She is still pretty tired and is on some nice pain meds, so she is still in and out of it for the most part. She has not had her tv or her phone hooked up yet - she will when she cares....lol
We only stayed about an hour. Everything is looking good, she just needs time to rest and heal. The nurse said she slept through the night last night. They're even going to get her up and into her chair later this afternoon. I know she's not quite herself yet - that nasty tube is still up her nose!!! Further updates when someone visits, please. :-)

Debbie's surgery update....
I spoke with Dr. Orloff at 11:40 am and he said the surgery went well, no problems or concerns!
She will be in recovery for about 2 hours and then they will move her to a room, where we may visit her.
I plan on going back up around 1:30pm and will give another update later on this early evening!

I got a call from her at 12:30 this morning, and when the Doctor's realized the
Kidney's for the transplant were not up to par she was put back on the schedule.

Hey Everyone! Ijust wanted to update you all on what's going on down here in FL. I was scolded (lol) last night for not posting pics of the girls for you all to see. Well, I went to do it this morning and found that the computer I am using has none (pics of girls). So I need to get them off my other computer (long story). Anywho, we are doing ok. The recession has taken quite a bite out of us. Chris still has a job, but they cut their hours and everyone had to take a 5% pay cut. I have been trying to find any job (pt, ft, etc)but have been unsuccessful. On a brighter note I am back in school. I stared online classes last week and I am going for an AAS in Medical Office Management. It's been weird but I am getting used to it. The girls are doing great! Nothing new going on with them right now. Emily's talking in complete sentences now. We think Hannah might have like ADD or something so we're going to talk to their Dr about it at their checkup in April. Other than all that things are pretty good. I hope you guys are doing well. I will post pics as soon as I can. TTFN!
