Fred and Olga - FYI
I just wanted to take the time to share some information with the fam. I spoke with Anita the other night. It seems that Fred and Olga are not doing well at all. Fred has been diagnosed with dementia and Olga has stage 4 lung cancer. She has refused all chemo and radiation, so they are treating her pain/symptoms only. They have moved to Woodcrest Commons, which is an assisted living facility in Henrietta at 4455 W. Henrietta Rd. They are in suite # 104. Anita checked with Olga and she is looking forward to some company! The only thing is, you need to call first, because she has a nurse come in several times per week to drain her pleural tubes. This takes several hours. Their phone number is 487-6390. The nurse generally visits Olga after lunch and their meal times are 11:30 for lunch and 4:30 for dinner. It doesn't look good for Olga, so if you can make the trip up there, this might be the time......

Have you been the victim of credit card fraud?....
I was! ESL called me to ask about 2 recent charges to my Debit/ATM card.
Both were from 12/31/2013 and the charge was for $9.84 each. There was also an international fee of .10¢ for each of these charges as well. ESL had me sign paperwork to dispute these charges and issued me a new card.
Today I looked at my Chase Visa account and lo and behold....again $9.84 on 12/25/13.
Of course I disputed this charge and Chase is sending me a new card and account number.
The charges were listed as;

12/30/2013 $9.84 CEWCS.com
12/30/2013 $9.84 ONWSAC.com
Please check your accounts regularly! Some online research says this may be the result of the Target credit card breach, even though I did not shop there recently, I have in the past year!

Christmas Eve
As you know, Christmas Eve will be at the Santiagos' house this year. Festivities will commence at 6ish. I have put together a "horse doovers" kind of night. If anyone is unable to bring what I've requested, please let me know and we will change whatever is required. The list is as follows:
1. Bella - Spring rolls and dipping sauce, meatballs in marinara sauce and crackers
2. Deb - Mini hot dogs in BBQ sauce
3. Jing - Brie and sliced baguettes(?)
4. Heather - Artichoke dip and a veggie tray
5. Lisa - Chips and Salsa
6. Kim - Chips and dip ( perhaps one chip/dip Wegmans' brand which is GF )
7. Alicia - I will be providing the cheese for Bella's crackers, soda, coffee, tea,
beef tenderloin in bacon, LOTS of cookies and flourless dark chocolate cake.

FYI... Fred Recchio is turning 90 years old this coming Sunday, the 15th. The Recchios are having an "open house" from 2 to 5 pm. We are ALL welcome. Bring NO gifts, just being there is enough. Hope to see you there!
